Obituary for Ms. Pearl Osborne Ms. Pearl Osborne, age 97, of 919 Medical Park Drive, Mountain City, TN and formerly of Shady Valley, TN passed away Saturday April 2, 2011, at the Mountain City Care Center. She was the daughter of the late George Campbell and Emmer Farmer Campbell. She was a native of Ashe County, N.C. She was a homemaker. Pearl loved cooking, canning and gardening. In addition to her parents she was proceeded in death by her husband Lester Osborne who died in 2006; also a daughter Barbara A. Sturgill; two sisters Thelma Nichols and Tressie Farmer; and five brothers, Conley, Willard, Ivan, Herman and Thurman Campbell. Survivors include: Sister: Selma Cornett and husband Kenny Mountain City, TN Granddaughter; Kellie Lewis and husband Mark Nottingham, PA. Great Grandchildren: Casi, Courtney and Cole Lewis, Nottingham, PA Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00p.m.on Thursday, April 7, 2011 from the East Chapel of the Hux Lipford Funeral Home. Rev Eddie Porter and Rev. Roy Dowell will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00p.m. To 2:00p.m.prior to the service. Graveside services will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park, Mountain City, Tennessee. Active pallbearers will be: Rick Cornett, Jeff Cornett, John Younce, Matthew Cornett, Brandon Greenwell, Kevin Gilbert and Kevan Kneuker. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Hodge, Darrell Brinkley, Harold Garland and Scott Teague. Online condolences may be sent to the family and viewed at www.huxlipfordfh.com.
