Peggy Curd

Virginia (Peggy ) Curd Age 92 of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015. She was a faithful member of the Norwood Church of Christ for over 50 years. She was a "mother to all" in helping everyone with a smile and loyal friendship. Born in Lansing NC. Preceeded in death by her husband Richard Clay Curd, mother Kate Powers, father Harrison Powers sisters Audry and Georgia. Survived by brother Elmo Powers and sons Lewis and Dean Curd. nieces Edna Luther, Jo Ann Hall and grandchildren Allison Kruse, Ami Higgins, Andrew Curd, Melissa Curd, Keith Curd, great grandchildren Collins Kruse, Grant Kruse, Garrett Kruse, Walker Higgins, and Hadley Higgins. The grandchildren and great grandchildren will act as honorary pallbearers. Funeral Service for Peggy will be held on Monday February 2, 2015 at 11 am.In the Hux Lipford funeral Home Chapel The Family will receive friends from 10 until 11 am. Prior to the funeral service. Mr. Bob Cowles of Norwood Church of Christ to Officiate. Graveside service will be in the Dunn memorial park Forge Creek, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Norwood Church of Christ Knoxville, Tennessee.
