Peggy Steele

Peggy Steele, age 69, of 319 Falls Creek Road, Zionville, NC passed away Tuesday in Johnson City Medical Center. She was born June 18, 1943 to the late Page and Bonnie Adams. Ms. Steele was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church and her hobbies included collecting dolphins and bird houses and she especially loved spending time with friends and family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Henry Balthazr. Survivors include: her husband of 39 years, Charles "Bobby" Steele; two daughters: Pamela Terry and husband Kris of Butler, TN and Sheila Blevins of Glade Springs, VA; two sons: Allen Balthazr and wife Dawn of Blountville, TN and Scotty Balthzar of Abingdon, A; one sister: Thelma Owens of Chilhowie, VA; nine grandchildren: Ashley Blevins, Brittany Blevins, Jeremiah Balthazr, Cory Balthazr, Patrick Balthazr, Jenny Lowe, Hank Wright, Jr., Timothy Wright and Christopher Wright; six great grandchildren (with a new one on the way): Deidra Lowe, Thomas Lowe, McKinzie Lowe, Nathanial Lowe, Caden Wright and Kiria Wright; and several nieces and nephews. Special friends Karen, Christy, Myrtle and staff of Fresenius Dialysis Center, and very special friends Lena and Neil Van Huss also survive. A memorial service for Peggy Steele will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 31, 2012 from the East Side Memory Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Stidham officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. prior to the service At other times friends may call at the residence 319 Falls Creek Road, Zionville, NC.
