Phillip Roosevelt Greene

Phillip R. Greene of Zionville, NC, born September 20, 1952, passed away October 21, 2026.  He grew up in Mendota, VA.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 54 years, Linda Greene; daughter, Lisa Greene (Jackie); 4 grand children, Daniel Greene (Elizabeth), Cora Payne (Jake), Cameron Denny, Hailey Pummell (Jeff); 2 great granddaughters, Clara and Chloe Payne.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alma Ruth Osborne Greene and Roosevelt Greene; sister, Michell True and brother Ernest Greene.

Phillip was a member of Mendota Baptist Church in Mendota, VA. He enjoyed deer hunting, carpentry and the great outdoors.  

In accordance to his wishes there will be no public service.  There will be a private family service held for him.

The family respectfully requests no food or flowers.
