Phyllis Ann Ashley

Phyllis Ann Ashley, age 49, of 152 Eastridge Lane, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2006 following an extended illness. She was born on September 12, 1956 in Mountain City to Barbara Beverly Owens of Mountain City, Tennessee and the late Robert William "Bob" Owens. She was a 1972 Graduate of Johnson County High School. Phyllis enjoyed collecting lighthouses and taking vacations to the beach. In addition to her mother, Phyllis is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: Rodney and Jenny Ashley of South Charleston, Ohio; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Dale and Brenda Owens and Tom Owens, all of Mountain City, Tennessee; two grandchildren: Noah and Levi Ashley of South Charleston, Ohio and special friends: Kandas Rolo and Paul Roberts. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A Memorial Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2006 from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m., prior to the Service. At other times friends may call at the residence of Barbara Owens, 150 Eastridge Lane, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
