Randolph "Dockie" Dugger Jr.

Randolph "Dockie" Dugger Jr., age 58, of Mountain City, TN, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025 at his residence.  He was born July 29, 1966 to the late Randolph Dugger Sr. and Virginia Francis Erwin Dugger.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Aleckzadrian Dugger.

Dockie attended Corinth Baptist Church.  He was happily married to the love of his life, Elizabeth for thirty eight and a half years. Fishing on Boone Lake was his favorite thing to do.  Dockie also enjoyed deer hunting, coon hunting, working, wrestling, old country music,  and old westerns, especially Gunsmoke and Rifleman.  He loved his chickens, his little dog, Lucky and eating at Golden Corral with his family as they meant everything to him.  You never saw Dockie that he didn't have a mountain dew in his hand and if he If liked you, then you better bet he was going to give you a hard time.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Elizabeth; sons, Randall Dugger (Sasha) and Christopher Dugger (Elizabeth R); uncle, Tim Dugger; brothers, Thomas Dugger, Timothy Dugger, Clyde Dugger, and Michael Dugger; grandchildren, Raydan Dugger Jada Dugger, Roman Dugger, Noah Robbins, Jaxon Dugger, Karson Dugger, Kaylee Stanley, and Alibbia Dugger; brother in law, Michael Fritts; several nieces and nephews; many cousins; special friends, Doug Norris, Eric Cannon, Dave Widner, Joey Luckett, Frank Moro, and J.E. Stanley also survive.

Funeral service for Dockie will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 in the Charles B. Hux Chapel at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Bill Morefield officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.  A graveside service will follow at Bakers Gap Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Randall Dugger Christopher Dugger, Thomas Dugger, Raydan Dugger, Timothy Dugger and Tim Dugger.

Honorary Pallbearers are Doe Valley Fire Department, Michael Fritts, Doug Norris and Jason Dugger.
