Randy Baber

Randy Baber, age 60, of 2138 Bradley Street, Bristol, VA passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014 in Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born February 3, 1954 to Eneda Evelyn Maxey Baber and the late William Randolph Baber II. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents. Randy enjoyed woodworking. Survivors in addition to his mother include: his wife Janet Widner Baber of the home; daughters: Jessie Blevins and husband John of Laurel Bloomery, TN and Dani Pooulex of the home; brother: Leonard Baber and wife Ann of Damascus, VA; grandchild: Eli Blevins of Bristol, TN and several nieces and nephews. Special friend Lewis Wilson of Mountain City also survives. A graveside service will be held in Jackson Lewis Cemetery in Taylors Valley, VA at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2014 with Mr. Dwayne Dickson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m. prior to the graveside service. Active pallbearers will be Roger Sutherland, J. C. Thomas, Benji Widner, Luke Cox, John Blevins and Joe Yarber. Honorary pallbearers will be Leonard Baber, Jimmy Cox, Shelton Smith and Jamie Smith.
