View This Video Tribute Randy Hamm, age 27, of 264 Woodring Circle, Boone, North Carolina passed away Friday, December 18, 2009 at his residence. He was the son of Joseph Walter Hamm, Jr. and wife Crystal of Abingdon, Virginia and Connie Faye Woodard Ross of Mountain City, Tennessee. Randy was an electrician/carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. His hobbies included fishing, playing with his children, and was an outdoorsman. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joseph Walter Hamm, Sr.; maternal grandfather, James Delmar Woodard; uncle, Randy Keith Woodard; great aunt, Cora Ray; and great grandmother Riley.
Survivors include: his wife, Janice Furches Hamm, of the home; two daughters: Destanie Blaze Hamm of Mountain City, TN and Savannah Rose Hamm of Boone, NC; one son: Kainon Reece Hamm of Mountain City, TN; father: Joseph Walter Hamm, Jr. of Abingdon, VA; mother: Connie Faye Woodard Ross of Mountain City, TN; maternal grandmother: Geneva Woodard of Mountain City, TN; paternal grandmother: Shirley Hamm of Abingdon, VA; two sisters: Natasha Hamm and B. J. Roten, both of Abingdon, VA; two brothers: Preston Blake Ross and Isiah Austin Ross, both of Mountain City, TN; special friends: Chris Covington and Lowe.
Visitation for Randy Hamm will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, December 26, 2009 from the East Side Memory Chapel of Hux~Lipford~Teague Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 27, 2009 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux~Lipford~Teague Funeral Home with Pastor Bill McGwire and Pastor Mike Bowers officiating. Graveside service and interment will follow the service in Johnson Family Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Ray Eggers, Robert Greer, Judge Rogers, Kevin Rash, Brandon Rash, Jimmy Carroll and Keith Smith . Honorary pallbearers will be friends.
At other times friends may call at the residence of his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Judy Furches, 482 Claude Warren Road (Rainbow Community), Mountain City, Tennessee.
