Randy Lee Campbell

After a year long courageous battle with cancer, Randy Lee Campbell, age 58, of l67 Forest Wood Lane, Mountain City, TN passed away Sunday afternoon, January 29, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Randy was a member of Shady Valley Baptist Church. He was a master carpenter and he also loved hunting and fishing. He was a son of Ardna Campbell and the late W. Dale Campbell. Survivors in addition to his mother include: his loving wife, Linda Campbell, of the home; three daughters: Malori Campbell of Laurel Bloomery, TN; Elizabeth Lackey of Mountain City, TN and Sarah Lackey of Boone, NC; one son: Carnice Campbell of Anderson, SC; two sisters: Belinda Reece and husband Tom and Joy Snyder, all of Mountain City, TN; two brothers: Terry Campbell and wife Pat of Franklin, NC and Lynn Campbell and wife Shirley of Mountain City, TN; two grandchildren: Cameron Lackey and Chloe Lackey; and several nieces, nephews and cousins and many, many friends. Funeral services for Randy Campbell will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Mr. Tom Reece and Rev. Rick Thomason officiating. Graveside service and interment will follow in Shady Valley Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Bob McDonald, James Blevins, Eugene Jones, Brad Reece,Tim Campbell, Trent Snyder and Scotty Campbell. Honorary pallbearers will be all his hunting and fishing buddies and all his friends at the Quick Shop. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2012 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home.
