Ray L Osborne

Ray L Osborne, age 80, of Mountain City, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025 in Watauga Medical Center. He was born December 24, 1944 to the late John Osborne and Stella Sluder Osborne. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Ramirez; step-son, Rick Potter and several brothers and sisters.

Ray attended Locust Gap Baptist Church. He retired from Thomasville Furniture Factory in Lenoir, North Carolina. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. Ray loved his grandchildren more than anything. He was the most honest person you would ever meet and was liked by everyone.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 56 years, Katherine Pearl Osborne; daughters, Robin Hess (James), Pam Crowder (Darrel) and Paula Anson; son, Kevin Osborne; sisters, Millie Roark and Della (Trixie) Mae Glover; brothers, Johnny Tip Osborne, Carl Osborne (Gracie); grandchildren, Jaimey, Shania, Josh and many others; great grandchildren, Waylon and several more; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Earl Greer, Howard Stout, Wayne Vaught, Pearl Stout, and Ernest Tester.

It was Ray's wishes to be cremated and no formal services held.
