Raymond Duval

Raymond “Buddy” Duval, age 72, of Butler, TN, passed away on April 24, 2024 at his residence. Buddy was born July 22, 1951 in North Tonawanda, NY to Louis R. Duval and Jane Antonelli. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Diane Duck; brother, Joe Duval; and sister Catherine Smolen.

Buddy was a retired United States Navy Veteran. Following PO1 Duval's Navy career, he was a US Navy contractor. He loved working on cars, boating, camping, fishing and working on heavy equipment, as he was a mechanical engineer specialist.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Rebecca Crews (Josh), Carla Gerringer (Brandon), Dean Griggs (Michelle), Michael Griggs, Barbara Worrell (Walter), Brenda Thomas (David); sisters, Pat Kupiec and Diane VanCuran; brother, Mick Duval; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several very special nieces and nephews and treasured friends including Darwin and Georgia Faulkner and Lisa Rothenberg.

The family will receive friends Monday, April 29, 2024 from 5 pm – 7 pm in the Charles B. Hux Chapel at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home.

Arrangements for service and burial, in Virginia, will be made at a future date.
