Raymond J. Roark, age 80, of West Grove, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at his residence. A native of Green Valley, North Carolina, he was born on November 6, 1924 to the late Cody and Mary Belle Osborne Roark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters and one grandchild. Raymond was a World War II, Navy Veteran. He was an employee for over 30 years at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Raymond is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pauline Mahala Roark; two sons, Terry Roark of Trade, Tn and Jerry Roark of Creston, NC; one daughter, Nelda Mahala of Mountain City, Tn; one brother, C.R. Roark of Oxford, PA; four sisters, Imogene Farmer of Pfafftown, NC, Edith Dalton of Axton, VA, Louise Phillips of Todd, NC and Bonnie Roark of Creston, NC; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral Services for Raymond will be conducted at 8 p. m. Monday, February 28th, 2005 from the chapel of Hux-Tetrick Funeral Home with Mr. Jim Hutchinson and Rev. Eddie Porter to officiate. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p. m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a. m. Tuesday, March 1st, 2005 from the Sunset Mausoleum of Love. The family will also be receiving friends from 7-9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2005 from the Foulk and Grieco Funeral Home, 200 Rose Hill Road, West Grove, Pennsylvania 19390.
