Rebecca Dean Courtner

Rebecca Dean Courtner passed away on June 23, 2026, leaving behind cherished memories and a profound impact on the lives of her family and friends. Born on September 28, 1975, Rebecca's journey was marked by devotion to those she loved and an unwavering kindness that touched all who were fortunate to know her.

Rebecca was the beloved daughter of Jack Courtner. As a mother, she nurtured a loving family, and her spirit lives on in her children: her daughter Amber Jones, and her sons Zackary Jones, Ethen Jones, and Paul Woodard. She also held a special place in her heart for her step-daughters, Samantha KeFauver and Natisha Lambert; and her brother Jessie Heaton

Rebecca’s legacy extends to the next generation, and she was proud to be a grandmother to Ionna Johnes, Braxton Jones, and Sawyer Osborne. Her affection and presence in their lives created lasting memories that will continue to inspire them throughout their lives.

She is lovingly remembered by her aunts and uncles, Debra Watson, Kathy and Marvin Arney, Patsy and Jerry Courtner; and cousins including Tim, Jimmy, Derick, Amanda, Chasity, Tyler, and Brianna. These relationships enriched her life and brought great joy to every family gathering.

Rebecca is welcomed into eternal rest by those who preceded her in death: her devoted grandparents Shelton and Eula Faye Courtner, and her cousins Travis Courtner, Raymond Arney, and Steve Eggers, whose memories she always honored.

Throughout her life, Rebecca exemplified the values of generosity, resilience, and compassion. While her passing leaves an irreplaceable absence in the hearts of her loved ones, her legacy endures in the love she gave and the lessons she imparted. Her memory will be cherished and honored by all those privileged to have known her.

Rebecca loved riding horses, 4 wheeling, camping and fishing, but her favorite thing was being a mother and grandmother and she did it with her whole heart. 

Rebecca will lie in state on Sunday, June 28, 2026 from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home for all her family and friends to pay their respect.
