Richard Bailey

Richard Bailey, age 79, of 1806 Hwy 421 North, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at his residence. A native of Dayton, Ohio, he was born on June 20, 1926 to the late John and Mary Griffin Bailey. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Burns and three sisters: Ruby, Thelma and Triva. Richard enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and doing handiwork around his home. He was a Korean War Veteran having served in the United States Navy. Richard is survived by two sons; one sister-in-law, Roxie Burns and two nieces: Ramona Burns and Geraldine Grindstaff. Memorial Services for Richard Bailey will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2005 from the Hux-Tetrick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Everhart to officiate. Private Inurnment will be held at a later date. At other times, friends may call at the residence, 1806 Hwy 421 N., Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
