Richard Buford Grant

Richard Buford Grant, age 84, of 3200 Campbell Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was born July 11, 1932 to the late George Grant and Hazel Akers Grant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Charles Grant, two sisters: Florence Hanfuan and Dorothy Kaisan, and Hazel White.

He is survived by two nieces: Katherine Mahan and Patricia Laffery, one nephew, Wayne White, ex-wife, Donna Grant, step-daughter Janet McGuigan, caregivers Ronald and Prudy McGuigan of the home, and a number of brother and sister’s in law. His dogs Rocky and Taco also survive.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date.
