Ricky Ed Vaught

Ricky Ed Vaught, age 63, of Piney Flats, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at his residence. He was born October 23, 1959 to the late Charles Edgar Vaught and Marilyn Baird Vaught. Ricky was a member of the JCHS class of 1978. He was a carpenter, enjoyed biking, fishing, games and photography. Those left to cherish his memory include his two sisters, Debra Carroll Bridwell and husband Wally of Kingsport, TN and Joyce Ann Gregg and husband Kenneth of Mountain City, TN; brother, Randall Vaught and partner Mike Smith; nieces and nephews, Misty Issacs of Mountain City, TN, Toby Murph of Church Hill, TN and Tommy Gregg of Mountain City, TN and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral service for Ricky will be Friday, February 3, 2023 at 2 pm in the Buford Lipford Chapel in Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Kenny Ray Vaught and Gail Hartley to officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 pm - 2 pm prior to the funeral service. Graveside service will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Darryl Barlow, Brian Barlow, Mike Smith, Toby Murph, Tommy Gregg and Todd Issacs.
