Rita Sbrizzi

Rita Sbrizzi, age 93, passed away February 5, 2024 at her residence.  She was born November 26, 1930 to the late Joseph Canelli and Victoria Canelli. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sbrizzi and siblings.

Rita was a member of St. Cecilia Church in Stamford, CT.  She spent fifty five years as a Librarian and twenty five years as a sales person for Lord & Taylor.  Rita enjoyed walking, gambling and shopping.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Jo-Ann Sbrizzi, son, James Joseph Sbrizzi, daughter-in-law, Keri Sbrizzi, grandchildren, Joseph, Nicole and James and 4 great grandchildren as well as her friends, Laurie Petrizzi, Lynn Murray, Kevin Harrington, Silvana Cipollone, Kathy Woodard, Judy Pirro and John Barnes.

Rita will be laid to rest at St. John's Mausoleum with her beloved husband in Stamford, Connecticut.
