Mr. R.J. Clark, age 79, of 972 Slabtown Road, Mountain City, TN, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness.. A native of Johnson County, Tennessee, he was born on February 25, 1928 to the late Clarence Grimm and Chelsie Fletcher Clark. In addition to his parents, Mr. Clark was preceded in death by; one son, Bobby Clark; one step-daughter, Tammy Presnell; one brother, Coy Clark; and one daughter-in-law, Della Arnold. Mr. Clark was a concrete truck driver and enjoyed Bluegrass music and dancing. Survivors include his wife; Patsy L. Clark of the home; one daughter, Royetta Sieminski of Indian Trail, NC; two step sons, Willard Presnell of Sevierville, TN, James Arnold of Elizabethton, TN; one sister, Janice Dugger of Mountain City, TN; two brothers, Junior Clark of Longview, TX, Roy Clark of Butler, TN; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special nieces, Lisa Oliver and Teresa McKinney also survive Mr. Clark. Eulogies for Mr. R.J. Clark will be given on Saturday, March 17, 2007 following the visitation from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Military graveside services and interment will be held following the administering of eulogies from the Clark Family Cemetery in Butler, TN. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, March 17, 2007 from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm from Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Mack Proffitt, James Arnold, Ken Arnold, Tim Hodge, Bo Clark, Ron Sieminski, Jim Whitehead, and Dayton Vanover.. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roy Clark, John Ethridge, Junior Clark, and Ed Gentry. Friends may also call at the residence, 972 Slabtown Road, Mountain City, TN, at any time. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Research. Condolences may be sent to this family through our website at www.hux-lipford.com.
