Rob Eldreth

Rob Eldreth, age 47, of 180 Dowell Loop Road, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2004 following a brief illness. A native of Mountain City, he was born on April 14, 1957 to Betty Wallace Eldreth and the late Ovell "Pogi" Eldreth, who passed away in 2002. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one son, Doug Eldreth, who passed away in September 2002. Rob was a former employee of Mountain City Lumber. He was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. Rob was a Nascar Fan and a fan of Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Earnhardt Jr. Rob is survived by his mother, Betty Wallace Eldreth, of the home; several cousins, nieces and nephews, and special friend, Linda Snyder of Mountain City, Tennessee. Funeral Services for Rob will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2004 from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Dowell to officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, prior to Services at the Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2004 from the Eldreth Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Tony Price, Brad Price, Joe Hux, Steve Price, Eric Roark, Rick Price, Bobby Joe Wallace, Claude Snyder, Kurt Wilson and Brad Wilson. Honorary Pallbearers are: Bob Wallace, Jamie Lewis, Donnie Lewis, Jimmy Eldreth, Mike Price and Brandon Roark. Family, Friends and Pallbearers are asked to meet at the Eldreth Cemetery Thursday at 2:45 p.m. At other times, friends may call at the residence.
