Robert "Mickey" Nemeth, age 56, of 139 Maple Road, Mountain City, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 10, 2005 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital following a lengthy illness. A native of Mountain City, Robert was born on March 4, 1949 to Agnes M. Nemeth of Mountain City, Tn and the late Andrew C. Nemeth. In addition to his father, Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Priscilla Laws and Michael Nemeth. Robert had been a Quality Control Technician at North American Rayon. He was a member of Central Baptist Church and was a member of the Church Choir also. In addition to his mother, Robert is survived by two sisters: Sharon R. Bursztyn and husband Michael and Donna K. Hammons and husband Larry, all of Mountain City, Tn; two nieces: Rachel Hammons and Elise Bursztyn, both of Mountain City, Tn and three nephews: Michael Bursztyn and wife Ann, Mark Bursztyn, all of Buffalo, N.Y. and Andrew Bursztyn of Mountain City, Tn. Several Friends and Cousins also survive. Funeral Services for Robert "Mickey" Nemeth, will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2005 from the Central Baptist Church with Rev. Harry Wills and Rev. Mike Penley to officiate. Music will be under the direction of the Central Baptist Church Choir. Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2005 from the Greene Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Deacons of Central Baptist Church, Estel Mains and Richard Greene. Honorary Pallbearers are: Central Baptist Church Choir Members. Family, Pallbearers and Friends are asked to assemble by 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, to go in procession to the cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. Monday, prior to Services at the Church. At other times, friends may call at 428 Mink Hills Road, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
