Robert Wayne Sexton

Robert Wayne Sexton, age 47, of 4020 Crackers Neck Road, Mtn. City, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007. He was born on February 23, 1960, to the late Worley Eugene Sexton and Barbara Parker Sexton. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother, Mike Sexton and his grandmother, Ruth Arnold. Mr. Sexton was a member of Locust Gap Freewill Baptist Church. His favorite hobbies were fishing and hunting. In addition to his mother, he is survived by: two sons, Christopher Wayne Sexton and Nicholas Sexton both of Lenoir, NC; one sister, Brenda Sexton, Mtn. City, TN; one brother, David Sexton of Mtn. City, TN; several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services for Robert Wayne Sexton will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2007, from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home, with Rev. Ray Slemp officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, prior to the services at the funeral home. Active pallbearers will be Tony Brown, Keith Mains, Estel Mains, Frank Mains, Lynn Danner and Larry Danner . Honorary pallbearers will be Dallas Parker, Junior Parker, Charles Parker, Alfred Woods.
