Robert Charles Vanover

Robert Charles Vanover, age 74, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Amorem Hospice House in Hudson, North Carolina.  He was born August 21, 1950 to the late Winston Vanover and Della Payne Vanover.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, James "Jay" Vanover, R.B. Vanover, Bonnie M. Lewis, Elizabeth Vanover and Lorraine Embert.

Robert was always a hard worker. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, playing cards and taking care of and spending time with his daughter, Amanda.

Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Amanda; brothers and sisters, Vedie Pope, Lois Cox, Ruth Borror, Ferry Roark, Ralph Vanover and Ruby Olive; grandson, Wesley Charles Setzer; and  best friend, Mike Jackson. Many other family and friends and nieces and nephews also survive.

It was Roberts wish's to be cremated and no formal services held.
