Rod Trivette

Rod Trivette, age 103, of Mountain City passed away February 21, 2024 in the Mountain City Care Center.  He was born October 9, 1920 to the late Garfield and Vira Martin Trivette.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in brothers, Arlis, Dean, Bob, Clay and Ottis and sisters, Eula Faye Courtner, Virda Mae Stout and Patsy Eggers.

Rod attended Rainbow Mennonite Church. He enjoyed busting wood, mowing and gardening.

In addition to his brother, Bill Trivette and wife Rita of Mountain City, he is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1 pm - 2 pm Sunday, February 25, 2024 in the Buford Lipford Chapel at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Gambill Due to the road conditions at the cemetery we will have the service at the funeral home. And he will be laid to rest at Trivette Cemetery on Forge Creek.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Trivette, Kenneth Stout, Jerry Courtner, Derick Eggers, Jack Courtner and Tim Eggers.
