Romy Harrison

We are saddened to announce the passing of Romy J Harrison, at the age of 89, who passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at The Waters of Roan Highlands in Roan Mountain, TN. He was born on March 20, 1933 in Boone, NC to the late Jerry Harrison and Lelia Greene Harrison. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by eight brothers and one sister. Romy enjoyed farming, bluegrass and watching nascar. Those left to cherish his memory include his precious wife, of 67 years, Josephine Harrison, two daughters, Pam Maltba (Russell) of Boone, NC and Brenda Carico (James) of Connelly Springs, NC, Three grandchildren, Lauren Stansberry (Matthew), Erin Carico and Eli Carico, and several nieces and nephews. A Grave side service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 1 pm at the Hampton Cemetery in Boone, NC, with Jerry Pearson officiating.
