You held my hand when I was small, you caught me when I fell, The hero of my childhood and of latter years as well.
Every time I think of you, my heart just fills with pride and though I'll always miss you, Dad, I know you're by my side.
In laughter and in sorrow, in sunshine and in rain, I know you're watching over me Until we meet again.

We are saddened to announce the passing of Ron Reece, age 70, on Friday, April 21,2023 at his residence in Mountain City.  He was born February 16,1953 to the late Clay Reece and Bessie Lipford.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his grandfather, Grover Reece.

Ron enjoyed being out and about, roaming around town and going to the store.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Cody Reece (Anita); grandchildren, Izzy Reece, Declan Reece, Emma-Leigh Light, Mason James Light and special friend, Samantha Forrester.

Funeral service for Ron will be held on Wednesday, April 26,2023 at 11 am in the Buford Lipford Chapel of Hux & Lipford Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10 am to 11 am prior to the funeral service.
