Ronnie L. Church, age 57, of 278 Forge Creek Road, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away Monday, November 10, 2003 at his daughter's residence following an extended illness. A native of Johnson County, he was born April 02, 1946 to the late Hubert Cross and Olive Hall Church, who passed away July 2003. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters; Connie Osborne, Nell Pealer and Bell Church and one brother; Junior Church. He enjoyed visiting with family and friends and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. Ronnie is survived by his companion; Jackie Coffey, his daughters; Cindy Church and Sandy Church, one son; Marty Church, all of Mountain City, Tennessee, two sisters; Etheal Tolley of Elizabethton, Tennessee and Cledith Perkins of Mountain City, Tennessee, six brothers; Doug Church, Glenn Church, Rick Church all of Mountain City, Tennessee, AG Church of Johnson City, Tennessee, Walt Church of Butler, Tennessee and Ed Church of Garden City, Michigan, grandson; Adam Church of Mountain City, Tennessee, special nieces; Sharon Perkins Fritz of Knoxville, Tennessee, Lisa Snyder, Birdgett and Sonya Osborne all of Mountain City, Tennessee, several other nieces and nephews, special friends; Dr. Donald Tarr, Ray Howard, Charles Stout and Duke Snyder. Funeral Services for Ronnie L. Church will be held at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2003 from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doug Stidham to officiate. Family will receive friends 6:30-8:00 p.m. prior to services. Graveside Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 13, 2003 from the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be nephews and friends. Honorary Pallbearers are: Mr. John Brookshire and Dr. Donald Tarr.
