Ronnie Dickens

Ronnie Dickens, age 55, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2026 at his residence.  He was born June 20, 1971 in Abingdon, VA to Ira Dickens and the late Louise Taylor Dickens.  In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Jeff and Chad, his nephew, Casey Eden and dog, Romeo.

Ronnie was an over the road truck driver who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and working on cars.  A true people person, he enjoyed volunteering at the nursing home, where he spent time visiting with residents and offering companioinship.  He dearly loved his dog, Scruffy, who held a special place in his heart.  Ronnie will be fondly remembered for his friendly nature and the kindness he shared with others.  

Those left to cherish his memory include his dad, Ira Dickens (fiance, Shelly Jacobs); son, Zachary Jacobs (Alexis); sister, Becky Williams; brother, David (Magdalena); grandchildren, Brantley, Ryker and Aurora; several nieces, nephews and cousins and special friend, Jamey Greer.  

A memorial service date and time will be announced soon.
