Rosa Lee Dunn

Rosa Lee Dunn, age 93, of 966 Main Road, Trade, TN and formerly of 723 Arnold Town Road, Mountain City, TN passed away on Saturday, November, 29 2014 at her residence. She was born November 5, 1921 to the late Wiley Arnold and Elizabeth Curry Arnold. She was a member of Locust Gap Freewill Baptist Church and founder of Women's Auxiliary of Locust Gap Freewill Baptist Church. Rosa loved traveling, gardening, flowers and especially loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie B. Dunn; sisters: Beulah Mink and Nan Hartman; brothers: David, Claude, Walter, Willie, Joe, John and Coolidge Arnold; and one granddaughter: Wanda Murphy. Survivors include: two daughters: Janice Murphy of Mountain City, TN and Billie Jean Main and husband Colis of Trade, TN; and one son: Darrell Gilbert of Mountain City, TN; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Shannon Courtner and Rev. Tony Potter officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside service and interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be Cliff Dunn, Ernest Tester, Bob Mink, Mike Trivette, Larry Mink and Danny McElyea. Honorary pallbearer will be Dean Mink.
