Ruby D. Reese

Ruby D. Reese, age 96, 212 Sunset Drive, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away Sunday, December 2, 2007 at Johnson County Community Hospital. Ruby was the daughter of the late Roby and Hannah R.Warren. Ms. Reese was a retired employee of Appalachian State University and she was a member of Zionville Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard W. Reese and one brother: Vester Warren. Survivors include one daughter: Phyllis Messer of Mountain City, Tennessee:one sister: Ola Greer, Lenior, North Carolina; two grandchildren: Richard Phipps and Sandra P. Fritts, both of Mountain City; two nieces: Beulah Norris of Mountain City and Iva Dean Brown of Zionville, North Carolina. Funeral services for Ruby D. Reese will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Joseph Griffis and Rev. Daniel Jones officiating. Graveside service and interment will be in Zionville Baptist Church Cemetery following services. The family will receive friends from 6:00 ? 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the Charles B.
