Russell Jordan

Russell Jordan, age 85, of 919 Medical Park Drive, formerly of 835 North Church Street, Mountain City, TN passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010 in the Mountain City Care and Rehabilitation Center. Russell was born in Johnson County, TN to the late Willis Jordan Sr. and Vada Robinson Jordan. He worked as parts manager for Carter County Motors for a number of years. Russell was a member of Doe Valley United Methodist Church; he loved to tinker with small engines. He was proceded in death by his wife Beatrice Jordan in 1997, three brothers, S.D. Jordan, James Earl Jordan, Willis Jordan Jr. and sister, Helen Collins. Survivors are sisters, Golda Walsh of Kingsport, TN, Marguritte Lowe, of Mountain City, and Imogene Millsaps and husband Raymond, of Elizabethton, TN, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service for Russell Jordan will be conducted at 11:00a.m. Friday, October 8, 2010, from the Sunset Memorial Park in Mountain City with Dr. Kenneth Jordan officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, TN 37683 or to the Mountain City Care and Rehabilitation Center activity fund, 919 Medical Park Drive, Mountain City, TN 37683.
