Ruth May Allen, age 83, of Mountain City died Tuesday Evening, October 7, 2003, In the Mountain City Health Center after a lengthly illness She was a native of Johnson County and was a Daughter Of the late Elizabeth Sarah May and was preceded in death by her Husband, Lloyd D.Allen who Died in l988, also by a Brother John May and a sister Anna Price. She was a Homemaker and A Member of the Pine Mountain Baptist Church in Creston, N. C. Survivors: (1) Daughter: Carol Horne, Mountain City (2) Sons: John Allen, Mountain City Emory Allen, Coatesville, Pennsylvania (1) Sister: Mildred Miller, Kennett Square, Pa. 10 Grandchildren 2 Step Grandchildren l2 Great Grandchildren 5 Step Great Grandchildren Several Nieces and Nephews Henson Funeral Home in charge of the Arrangements. Funeral services for Ruth May Allen, age 83, of Mountain City who died Tuesday will Be held 7:00 P. M. Thursday from the Chapel of the Henson Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Ward to officiate. Graveside Services and Burial will be held 10:00 A. M. Friday from the Reece Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Grandsons The family would like to Say Thanks to the Blue Ridge Senior Family living for the care Given to their Mother. The family will receive Friends from 6 till 7:00 P. M.
