Ruth Lee Lewis, age 80, of 6344 Forge Creek Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Wednesday, June 04, 2003 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born July 17, 1922 to the late Dolphus C. Lewis and the late Inez Smith Lewis. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, and one brother, Bruce Wallace. She was a homemaker and a member of Hammons Chapel Christian Church. Survived By: (1) Sister: Ruby Graybeal, Trade, TN (5) Brothers: Kyle Lewis, Mountain City, TN Wallace Lewis, Mountain City, TN Earl Lewis, Laurel Bloomery, TN Dana Lewis, Trade, TN Toll Lewis, Laurel Bloomery, TN Several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral services for Ruth Lee Lewis, age 80, of 6344 Forge Creek Road, Mountain City, Tennessee will be held 8:00 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2003 from the Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Mr. Mike Smith and Rev. Bill Morefield to officiate. Music will be under the direction of Kerry Gentry. Pallbearers will be: Johnny Potter, Homer Vanover, Paul Payne, Jerald Price, Ricky Price and James Patrick. The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 p.m. Saturday June 7, 2003 at the Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home.
