Ruth M. Malone

Ruth M. Malone, age 78, of 336 Sprucey Ridge, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at the Mountain City Care Center following an extended illness. A native of Syracuse, New York, Ruth was born on November 10, 1927 to the late Charles H. Starke Sr. and Doris H. Sheldon Starke. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by one sister, Doris B. Keeley and one brother, Charles H. Starke Jr. Ruth was a former employee for the Times Union Newspaper and a former Life Guard at Daytona Beach, Florida. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing chess. Ruth is survived by two sons: John C. Malone and wife Charlotte and Lewis M. Malone Jr., all of Mountain City, Tennessee; three grandchildren: April M. Malone, Scott Malone and Michelle Malone and one great grandchild, Celene Meadow Church. Private Interment Services will be conducted at a later date.
