Samuel Caroll Phillips

We are saddened to announce the passing of Samuel Caroll Phillips, who passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was the infant son of Gary Phillips and Sarah Moody Phillips of Mountain City, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his Paternal grandparents; Dana and Stella Phillips and Maternal grandmother, Carol Church. Those left to cherish his memory along with his parents are; Maternal grandfather, Michael Moody of Boone, NC, Maternal Great grandparents, Paul and Margaret Moody of Blowing Rock, NC, two brothers; Gary Phillips, JR of Mountain city and Benjamin Phillips of the home. Nephew; Gary Wayne Phillips III, Uncle; Michael Phillips of Fountain Inn, SC, Aunt; Kim Epperly of Mountain City and Great uncle; Darrell Phillips of Elizabethton, TN. A visitation will be held from 2:30 – 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 15,2022 at Phillips cemetery, the graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM, with Gary Phillips officiating.
