Sandra Moffett

June 27, 1952 — April 23, 2010

Sandra Lee Moffett, age 57, of 1781 Sluder Road, Shady Valley, Tennessee 37688, passed away unexpectedly on April 23, 2010. She was the daughter of Barbara Tuttle Clapp and the late Bernard Clapp. Ms. Moffett was of the Protestant faith, a corrections officer at NECC and her hobbies included genealogy. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Moffett.

Survivors include: her mother: Barbara Tuttle Clapp of Mountain City, TN; one daughter: Dawn Loyd and husband John of Gloucester, MA; one son: Christopher Hayden and wife Johnna of Westfield, MA; two brothers: William Clapp of Germany and Allen Nutting of Vermont; one grandson: Branden Prouty of Westfield, MA; several nieces and nephews and numerous special friends.

A memorial service for Sandra Lee Moffett will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 from the Teague Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steven Spencer officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. prior to the memorial service.
