Sarah Ann Calhoun

Sarah Ann Calhoun, age 44, of 2801 Fall Branch Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 in Watauga Medical Center. She was born April 28, 1970 to Edna Earl Ragan Allen and the late Warren Hardin Allen. She was member of Victory Chapel Cowboy Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, reading, scrapbooking, and especially her friends and family. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include: daughter Tara Woodard of Mountain City, TN; two sons; Dustin Woodard and Warren Woodard both of Mountain City, TN; brother John Townsend of Vilas, NC; nephew Timmy Townsend; and special friends Shirley and Jeff Woodard, Joe Hux, and Jody Hargett. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anthony Roark officiating. Graveside service will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Dustin Woodard, Warren Woodard, Randall Woodard, Jody Hargett, Jeff Woodard, Adam May, and Jason May. Honorary pallbearers are John Townsend and Timmy Townsend. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
