Sarah Frances Stanton Keller

Sarah Frances Stanton Keller, age 75, of Lacey Road, Granite Falls, North Carolina passed away December 14, 2003 at the Frye Regional Medical Center. A native of Johnson County, Tennessee, she was born March 06, 1928 to the late Conley H. and Winnie Mae Barlowe Stanton. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters. She was a member of the Bakers Gap Baptist Church, Mountain City, Tennessee. Sarah is survived by her husband; Joe Ray Keller of the home, four sons; Truman Stanton and wife Carolyn of Claremont, North Carolina, Jimmie Keller and wife Wanda of Lenoir, North Carolina, James David Lester and wife Karen of Hickory, North Carolina and Paul Keller of Granite Falls, North Carolina, two daughters; Wanda Cornett and husband Lloyd of Granite Falls, North Carolina, Lillie Gaye Lowery and husband James of Rhodhiss, North Carolina, two brothers; Jady Stanton and wife Norma of Mountain City, Tennessee and Harold Stanton and wife Linda of Butler, Tennessee, eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2003 from the Bakers Gap Baptist Church with Rev. James Richardson and Rev. Carl Swift to officiate. Sarah will lie in state 12:30 to 2:00p.m. at the church prior to services. Family will also receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at Pendry's Funeral Home in Lenoir, North Carolina. Graveside Services will follow in the Bakers Gap Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are; Lloyd E. Cornett, Bobby Stanton, Chris Stanton, Timmy Stanton, Johnny Paul Stanton, Kevin Keller and Joey Lowery. Honorary Pallbearers are Joshua Stanton and Allan Blackwood.
