Shanda E. Cousins

Shanda E. Cousins, age 35, of 34 Alex Street, Willow Springs, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at the Johnston Memorial Hospital of Smithfield, North Carolina. A native of Lincolnton, North Carolina, she was born on April 12, 1971 to Gene T. Cousins of Mountain City, Tennessee and Margaret Burnett Cousins of Willow Springs, North Carolina. Shanda was a 1989 Graduate of Cary High School of Raleigh, North Carolina. She enjoyed the outdoors and wildlife. In addition to her parents, Shanda is survived by one brother, Julian M. Cousins of Willow Springs, North Carolina and one niece, Paige Julian Bowser of Apex, North Carolina. Funeral Services for Shanda E. Cousins will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2006 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel with Mr. Bill Reece officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. prior to the Services on Thursday at the funeral home chapel. Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 15, 2006 from the Brookshire Cemetery, Campbell Road, Mountain City, Tennessee. Active Pallbearers will be: Billy Jack Jenkins, Jessie Jenkins, Aaron Jenkins, Nathan Paisley, David Sexton and Steve Stanley. Family, Pallbearers and Friends are asked to assemble by 12:45 p.m. on Friday, at the cemetery for Services. At other times, friends may call at the residence of Shanda's Father, 142 Sundown Road, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
