Shannon Smith Kennedy

We are saddened to announce the passing of Shannon Smith Kennedy on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at her Residence. She was a U.S. Army Veteran where she was a Staff Sargent and she retired from Ford Motor Company where she worked in Human Resources. She loved traveling, reading her Bible and always said she was on a Quest for God. After Moving to Johnson County, she operated a Bed and Breakfast. She was born in Washington Courthouse, Ohio to Wendell Smith and Margaret Kaufeman Smith.

Those left to cherish her memory in addition to her parents include, daughter, Meaghan, Ypsilanti MI.  sons, Ryan and Garrett both of Monroe MI and Brandon of Clinton MI; sister, Wendy Fox; brother, Michael Smith; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends Viki Porter, Warren Doyle, Wendy Shive, May and Jim Demming also survive.

It was Shannon’s wish to be cremated, services will be held at a later date.
