Sharon Fritz

Sharon Dawn Perkins Fritz was born April 16, 1951, in Mountain City, Tennessee, and died March 27, 2026, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Sharon Fritz was born and raised in Mountain City, but later moved to the Knoxville area, where she worked in finance for Oak Ridge National Laboratories. Sharon raised two children, Tanya and Travis Curd.

While working for ORNL, Sharon met and married James Fritz. Sharon took great joy in raising their son, Holden Fritz, and enjoyed hours spent cheering Holden on in his many sporting adventures. Sharon is survived by many friends and family members, including Jim, Holden, and granddaughter Macie Edwards Knudson.

A graveside service will be conducted at 12 noon on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. .
