Shelby Jeanette Seats, age 54, of 158 Spring Street, Hampton, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2005 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital, Elizabethton, Tennessee. A native of Mountain City, Tennessee, she was born on July 28, 1950 to the late Dorothy Guy. In addition to her mother, Shelby was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Norris and one sister, Loretta Jenkins. Shelby is survived by her husband, Bob McKenzie of the home; three daughters and sons-in-law: Sandy and Harvey White, Audrey and Todd Perry and Jackie and Victor Cornett, all of Butler, Tennessee; two sisters: Pattie Guy and Sherry Stout; three brothers: Mitchell Guy, Scott Guy and Chris Guy; six step children: Robert McKenzie Jr., Dawn Host, Tonia McKenzie, Scott McKenzie, Amanda McKenzie and Bill McKenzie; eight grandchildren: Todd Norris, T.J. Norris, Sue Norris, Wayne Norris, Emma Cornett, Hannah White, Maggie White and Brandon Potter. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Shelby Jeanette Seats will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2005 from the Sink Valley Baptist Church with Pastor Harvey White to officiate. Music will be under the direction of Ms. Megan Pardue and Ms. Gail Elliott. Graveside Services and Interment will follow from the Norris Cemetery (Rainbow Community). Active Pallbearers will be: Mike Austin, Victor Cornett, Todd Perry, Kenny Phillips, Greg Picasso, Howard Stout and Dennis Tester. Honorary Pallbearers are: Dr. Shova and Dr. Donald Walters. The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 p.m. Sunday, prior to Funeral Service, at the Church. At other times, friends may call at the residence of Shelby's daughter, Sandy White, 720 Piercetown Road, Butler, Tennessee 37640.
