Shirley Wagner Dugger, age 77, of 310 Dotson Lane, Apartment 14, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away at her residence on Thursday April 4, 2013 following an extended illness. She was born June 18, 1935 in Butler, Tennessee to the late Daniel Wilber Wagner and Ms. Ruby Griffin Wagner, who resides in Butler, Tennessee. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill Dugger who passed away in 1977, also a son Michael Dugger, a daughter Brenda Bell and a brother Bud Wagner. Shirley's hobbies included planting flowers, reading and sewing. She was a member of the Midway Baptist Church and also attended Piney Grove Baptist Church. Her survivors in addition to her mother include: Daughter: Sharon Paul and husband Phillip of Bath, N.C. Two sons: Johnny Dugger of Mountain City, Tennessee. Jimmy Dugger of Mountain City, Tennessee. Son-in-law: J.B. Bell, Jr. of Pantego, NC A sister: Connie Sluder of Elizabethton, Tennessee. Three Brothers: Jess Wagner of Shady Valley, Tennessee Bob Wagner of Charleston, South Carolina Billy Joe Wagner of Marion, North Carolina Ten Grandchildren and five great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Special friends: Lenda Shelton, Amy Price, Laura Hodge and Sandra Perkins. Funeral services for Shirley Dugger will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013 from the East Side Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Thompson and Rev. Phillip Paul officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside service and interment will follow in the Rock Springs Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Christian Dugger, Joseph Dugger, Brandon Lee, Bryan Lee, Kyle O'Dell and Tyler O'Dell. Honorary pallbearers will be J. B. Bell, Richard Dugger, Montana Price and Michael Murphy.
