Shirley Hall Lane

Shirley Hall Lane, age 62, of 678 Drakes Creek Road, Trade, TN passed away Monday night, November 26, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Gwen Eller and Myrtle Dunn Eller. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and she loved hiking the Creeper Trail with her grandchildren. Survivors include: one daughter: Tammy Pierce and husband Christopher of Butler, TN; special companion: Patrick Cullen; one sister: Margaret Ferguson and husband Glen of Mountain City, TN; three grandchildren: Christian Pierce, Connor Pierce and Caleb Pierce; two nieces: Angie Ward and husband Desi and Robin Hill, all of Mountain City, TN; nephew: Robert Main of Trade, TN; all her special great nieces and nephews: Sheena Johnson, Addison Ward, Meleah Johnson, Andrew Johnson and Mandy Hill. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Mr. Mark Church and Rev. Kenny Ray Vaught officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 from Sunset Memorial Park in Mountain City. Active pallbearers will be Lee Greever, Todd Garland, Desi Ward, Jeremy Johnson and Kent Greer. Honorary pallbearers will be Employees of Phoenix Medical Suupply, Members of Johnson County Rescue Squad, Billy Ray Rash and Darwin Main. At other times friends may call at the residence, 678 Drakes Creek Road, Trade, TN.
