Stanley J. Galeta

Stanley J. Galeta, age 86, of 307 Hillside Road, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at the Johnson City Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born on May 12, 1919 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Vincent and Mary Keller Galeta. In addition to his parents, Stanley was preceded in death by one brother. Stanley was a World War II Army Veteran. He was a member of St. Anthony's of Padua. Stanley enjoyed spending time with his friends and working crosswords puzzles. Stanley is survived by his companion Geneva Hurd of Mountain City, Tennessee and caregivers: Helen Bumgardner and Angela Jenkins, both of Trade, Tennessee. Services for Stanley J. Galeta will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2005 from the Hux-Tetrick Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 p.m. prior to Services at the Funeral Home Chapel.
