Steven D. Bennett

Steven D. Bennett Jr. age 33, of Shouns Manor Apartments, Mountain City, TN passed away Saturday, April 9, 2005 at the Johnson County Health Center. He was a native of Fort Gordon, Georgia and was born June 20, 1971. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Osborne Copenhaver and his maternal grandfather, Billy Osborne. He was a carpenter,farmer and waterman doing commercial fishing. Survivors include his father and step-mother: Steven D. and Kim R. Bennett of Melford, DL: grandmother: Lillian Jarry of DL; step grandfather: David O. B. Brown of DL; a sister, Trisha Melendez of Dover, DL; two brothers: David Elswick of Newark, DL and Mike Bennett of Milford, DL; several nieces , nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Monday, April 18, 2005 from the Henson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2: 00 p. m. prior the service at the Funeral Home Chapel. Henson Funeral Home is serving the Bennett family.
