Tabitha Tabby Bumgardner

Tabitha "Tabby" Bumgardner, age 14, of 395 Greer Road, Zionville, NC, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2004 following an accident. A native of Watauga County, she was born December 19, 1989 to Gary "Peanut" Bumgardner and Shonnie Tolley Bumgardner. Tabitha was preceded in death by two uncles, Wayne Bumgardner and Jimmy Bumgardner; Great Grandmother, Virie "Big Nanny" Norman and Paternal Grandfather, Ed Bumgardner. Tabitha was a student and cheerleader of Mabel Elementary School. She was a member of A.V.I.D and Girls Rule Club. She enjoyed riding 4-Wheelers, collecting sports cars and being with her family and friends. Tabitha was a member of Zionville Baptist church. In addition to her parents, Tabitha is survived by Maternal Grandmother, Marie Proffitt of Burnsville, NC; Paternal Grandmother, Helen Bumgardner, Trade, Tn; four sisters, Crystle Lawson, Mountain City, Tn, Tracy Eldreth, Trade, Tn, Anna Kraszewski and Kelly Kraszewski, both of Zionville, NC; two brothers, Michael Bumgardner of Trade, Tn and Stanley Kraszewski of Mohawk, NY; niece, Syvannah Eldreth, Trade, Tn; two nephews, Joseph Wayne Lawson, Mountain City, Tn and Johnathan Eldreth, Trade, Tn; special friends, Kim Kraszewski and Wally May. Many Aunts and Uncles also survive. Funeral Services for Tabitha will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 2, 2004 from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Lawson and Rev. Derick Wilson to officiate. Graveside Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 3, 2004 from the Trade United Methodist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Honorary Pallbearers are: Family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, prior to Services at the Funeral Home Chapel. At other times, friends may call at the residence of Shonnie Bumgardner, 4800 Cold Springs Road, Mountain City, TN and/or Gary "Peanut" Bumgardner, 395 Marie Road, Zionville, NC. Family and Friends are asked to assemble at 9:15 a.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home to go in procession to the cemetery.
