Terry Thomas Greer

Terry Thomas Greer, age 47, of 23436 Sawmill Road, Damascus, Virginia passed away Thursday January 22, 2004 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born August 14, 1956 in Johnson County, Tenn. and was preceded in death by a brother Jerry Greer. He loved to collect model cars, loved animals, woodworking and drawing. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his parents, Milton Greer of Damascus, Virginia and Mary Jenkins Gambill of Mountain City: a daughter and son-in-law: Angel Greer and Barry Matheson, of Lenoir, N. C. a sister and brother-in-law: Robin and Travis Wilson, of Mountain City: a brother and sister-in-law: David and Patricia Greer, of Lenoir, N. C.: grandsons: Joshua and Jonathan Matheson and granddaughter, Jasmine Matheson, all of Lenoir, N. C.; a nephew, Tyler Wilson of Mountain City, and several aunts and uncles. He is also survived by a special friend, Dean Blevins, of White Top, Virginia. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P. M. Saturday from the chapel of the Henson Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Bowers to officiate. Burial will be in the Jenkins Cemetery on Sunday. Pallbearers will be: Paul Morrison, John Robinson, Travis Wilson, Toby Wilson, Trenton Wilson, Mike Robinson and Barry Matheson. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:00 P. M. Saturday at the funeral home or at other times will be at the home of his sister Robin Wilson, 144 Ackerson Creek Road, Mountain City, Tenn.
