Terry Kyte, a beloved member of the community, passed away on June 16, 2025, at the Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 6, 1962, in Johnson County, Tennessee. Terry was a dedicated family man and a passionate enthusiast of life, known for his vibrant spirit and love for adventure.

Terry was an avid fan of Harley Davidson motorcycles, a hobby that reflected his zest for life and freedom. He enjoyed fishing in his leisure time, cherishing the tranquility of nature and the joy it brought him. Terry was also a retired lifetime member of The Henchmen Motorcycle Club, where he created lasting bonds with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts who shared his passion.

He is survived by his wife, Glenna Olinger Kyte; his son, Joshua Kyte, and daughter-in-law, Taylor; his brother, Joe Kyte; his grandson, Keaton; his sister-in-law, Vickie Brence and husband Alex along with their son Dillon; his aunt, Nancy Gurley; his uncle, Tommy McNeil; and his special little buddy, Sterling Harwell, along with a multitude of godchildren who brought joy to his life.

Preceding Terry in death was his brother, Eddie Thomas, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life.

Terry Kyte leaves behind a legacy of love, adventure, and camaraderie that will continue to inspire all who knew him. His contributions to his family, friends, and the motorcycle community will be fondly remembered and cherished for years to come.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Chris Lenczewski for the compassion, support and care shown to them.

A memorial service celebrating Terry's life will be held at a later date.
