Terry Keith Pardue passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on June 9, 2026 .

Born on February 11, 1950 to Orville and Martha Pardue of Mountain City, TN. The youngest, Terry was one of 4 brothers and sisters Janet Harper (James), Linda Crowder (Jim) and Ronnie Pardue (Jayne).

Terry spent his childhood working in his father’s store Pardue’s Grocery, working in the garden with his grandmother and learning to “run the roads”. He loved Mountain City for its people and for the simple but pleasant life offered by the snow capped mountain tops and the green forest hills.

Terry began driving an 18 wheeler at the age of 16 and would do that for nearly the rest of his life. After many years driving over the road he was awarded his two million mile certificate. He also received many safe driver awards. He also ran over 5 deer all at once (after cresting a hill) while they licked salt off a snow covered highway. He could put a trailer wherever he wanted and usually on the first try.

Married to Sabrina in 1988 at River Front Park in Nashville amongst their closest Corvette Club and bowling league friends. They spent the next 37 years happily together. Terry had three sons. Jeff Pardue, Darren Pardue (Rese) and Zack Pardue (Christy). Terry was a stern but loving father. He expected you to do what he asked when he asked it but was affectionate and caring in how he did it. He taught his boys many things through the years but most importantly to be honest, hard working and to do what we say we’ll do.

A member of Life House Fellowship for 30 years, Terry was fierce in his love for Jesus. He would often invite strangers to church just because. He once pulled up to country music singers house, Doug Stone, to invite him to church simply because he felt lead to. Terry demonstrated his love forChrist through acts of service. You could often find him on Sunday morning behind the coffee bar greeting members and new comers alike. He knew how you liked your coffee and would have it made and ready for you.

Terry is preceded in death by his Father Orville Pardue, mother Martha Pardue, Sister Linda Crowder and Brother Ronnie Pardue.

Terry is survived by wife Sabrina. Sons Jeff, Darren and Zack. Sister Janet Harper. Sharon and Elizabeth Dugger. Grandchildren, Layla, Nash, Sutton, Cason and Kingston Pardue and many, many beloved friends to include Randy and Pam Stewart, Laura Thompson, Barry and Lisa Voorhies.
