Theodore Griffith

Theodore Griffith, age 65, of 208 Wilson Avenue, Mountain City passed away, Monday, June 2, 2003 in the Watauga Medical Center following an extended illness. He was a native of Coatesville, Pennsylvania and was born March 27, 1938 to the late Theodore and Martha Dawson Griffith. He he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Lee Griffith. He was retired from General Motors. Mr. Griffith enjoyed horses, tractors and restoring cars. Survivors: Wife: Katherine Blackburn Griffith, of the home (1) Daughter: Shelley Rozon, Cochranville, Pennsylvania (3) Step-Daughters: Lisa Guearreo, Oxford, Pennsylvania Jennifer Rosa, Knottingham, Pennsylvania Sarah Rosa, Mountain City, Tennessee (1) Son: Theodore Griffith III, Cochranville, Pennsylvania (1) Step-Son: Stephen Rosa, Stationed in Italy (1) Sister: Gladys Hilton, Lionville, Pennsylvania (3) Brothers: Robert Griffith, Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania Thomas Griffith, Coatesville, Pennsylvania William Griffith, Malvern, Pennsylvania Three Grandchildren Several Nieces and Nephews Hux-Lipford Funeral Home in charge of the Arrangements. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:00 P. M. Wednesday, June 4, 2003 from the Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Cochranville Methodist Church Cemetery in Pennsylvania. Pallbearers will be: Alex Rozon, Lou Rozon, Ted Griffith, Robert Blackburn, Bill Griffith, And William Griffith. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Clarence Robinson, Mike Gehron, John Gehron, David Lunceford, Marlin Johnson, and Robbie Gehron.
